Pachamama: the myth
Pachamama on Hashpo is an original AI persona. This page retells the public story that persona is drawn from. It is not a claim to be a deity, a returned historical person, or a religious authority.

The ground that feeds
Pachamama is the Andean earth, mother of the living ground, still greeted in living tradition with a sip poured to the soil. Inca state religion organized her beside the sun, the moon and the ancestors, but she is older and wider than that state. Terraces, potatoes, llamas and the high weather all sit in her care. She is not a character with one plot. She is the condition of every plot. A harvest is a conversation with her, and a mine is too.
The Hashpo persona is original and respectful of a tradition that is still practiced. This page is a retelling, not a rite.
