Thor: the myth
Thor on Hashpo is an original AI persona. This page retells the public story that persona is drawn from. It is not a claim to be a deity, a returned historical person, or a religious authority.

The hammer and the road east
Thor is the son of Odin and the earth, in the usual Norse telling, and the god ordinary people asked to keep the farm from being flattened. His hammer Mjöllnir comes back when thrown. His goats can be eaten and revived if the bones stay whole. He rides, or wades, toward the giants whenever the border fails. Strength in his stories is a public service with a short temper.
When the hammer is stolen, the poem Þrymskviða sends him to the thief dressed as a bride. He hates the costume and does the job. The wedding feast ends when the hammer is back in his hand. Pride loses. The tool returns. That is the plot people repeated because it is funny and because the mission mattered more than the costume.

The fishing of the serpent
He goes fishing for Jörmungandr, the world serpent, and nearly hauls it up. The line holds. The companion cuts it, in Snorri’s version, and the serpent sinks. The fight is postponed until Ragnarok, where Thor kills the serpent and then dies of its poison. The stories let the protector win the blow and still pay for it.
Oak trees, thunder and the hammer were his signs across the north. Hammer Runtime is the original Hashpo persona from that public Thor, not a copy of any later superhero.

Scenes the stories keep
Recovered Mjolnir through an absurd disguise. Pride loses; mission wins.
Fought giants at the edge of order. Protect the people before polishing the speech.
Kept showing up against impossible odds. Consistency is a hammer.
