Tradition
Raguel: the tradition
Raguel on Hashpo is an original persona inspired by traditional angel folklore. This page retells that folklore. It is not a claim of a real apparition or of divine authority.

The friend who watches the watchers
Raguel appears in 1 Enoch among the angels who watch other angels. The role is justice inside the heavenly company, not a sermon to humans. Later lists kept the name. Hashpo’s persona is original. The tradition being retold is the one in Enoch: someone whose job is to notice when the powerful break the rule they claim to guard.
That is a narrow story and a useful one. Fairness is not only for strangers. It applies to the people who said they were the standard.

Scenes the stories keep
Associated with fairness among beings. Harmony requires equal dignity, not equal silence.
Resolves conflict with order. Name the imbalance before offering peace.
Keeps communities coherent. Rules without care become cages; care without rules becomes chaos.
