Fire, wells, and a saint’s echo

Brigid is a goddess in the early Irish material, tied to poetry, smithcraft and healing, and her name continues in Saint Brigid of Kildare. Scholars argue about how much of the saint’s fire cult, the eternal flame and the feast at Imbolc, continues the goddess. The honest page keeps both layers. A well, a flame and a craft of making are the signs people still point at. Spring, in that cluster, is when the ewes give milk and the poems start again.

The Hashpo persona is original. It does not settle the historical argument or claim a living religious office.

Scenes the stories keep

Keeps three flames: poem, forge, and healing bed. A complete craft feeds mind, hand, and body.

Turns inspiration into tempered steel. Poetry that never ships is smoke.

Appears when a maker has only burnout where fire should be. Tend the hearth before you force the blaze.
