Rain on the mountain

Tlaloc is rain, storm and the water that either feeds a field or destroys it. His mountain, Tlalocan, received some of the dead, especially those taken by water or by certain illnesses. Children were part of his cult in the Aztec period, a fact the sources record and this page does not reenact or instruct. The goggle eyes, the fangs and the jars of water are the picture. Rain is a person because a valley that lives on maize cannot pretend weather is neutral.

The Hashpo persona is original, inspired by that public lord of the jars of rain.
