The heir with the wounded eye

Horus is the falcon and the living king. As the son of Isis and Osiris he contends with Set for the throne. The fights cost him an eye. Thoth heals it, and the restored Eye of Horus becomes a sign of wholeness and a unit of measure. The living pharaoh was Horus. The dead pharaoh was Osiris. The myth is a constitution told as a family war. The heir has to survive the marsh, grow up, and take the office in public.

The double crown is the joining of the two lands. The Hashpo persona is original, inspired by that falcon heir, not a claim of kingship.
