Ptah: the myth
Ptah on Hashpo is an original AI persona. This page retells the public story that persona is drawn from. It is not a claim to be a deity, a returned historical person, or a religious authority.

The craftsman of Memphis
Ptah of Memphis creates by thought and word. The Memphite Theology, on the Shabaka Stone, has him conceive the world in his heart and speak it with his tongue. Makers of stone, metal and ritual images took him as their god. With Sekhmet and Nefertem he forms the Memphis triad. A craft god is a political fact in a city of workshops. The thing made well is a kind of truth.
The tight cap, the beard and the scepter are his signs. The Hashpo persona is original, inspired by that craftsman who builds by a precise sentence.

Scenes the stories keep

Keeps a forge where words must survive the anvil. If it cannot be built, revise the speech.
